On Friday November 11th, the children commiserated Remembrance Day.
We created a wreath out of the children's hands and feet, to hang outside our eco classroom and used this as a centre piece to hold our 2 minute silence at 11 o'clock.
We then went for a walk around the village to read all the poppies that had soldiers names on. These soldiers were residents in Combs and these poppies were a remembrance of their bravery.
They also visited the life size metal soldier silhouette that stands proud in the centre of our village.
