We are extremely proud of the children for raising a grand total of £345.50 for The GEM Foundation - Stage 4 Deserves More. A great big thank you to families and friends for their sponsors.
A fantastic amount of money raised to help support this wonderful charity, which is close to our hearts.
The children and staff all wore their Christmas jumpers/outfits to school on Friday 8th December and we raised £6.00 for Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day.
We raised an incredible £883.40 at the Christmas Fair. Thank you once again for all your help and support.
We are planning to use some of the money for school trips but if you have anything that you would like to suggest we spend the money on, please speak to Miss Sweatmore or the school office.
Thank you.

The children and staff have had a fantastic time for World Book Day today!
The children thoroughly enjoyed dressing up as their favourite characters and bringing their books in to show their friends.
We filled the day with lots of World Book activities such as taking turns to be in the 'hot seat', 'guess the character', writing character reviews, showing, discussing and reading each others stories and we even took part in a cat walk.
A wonderfully magic day had by all!
The children had a 'flipping' good time. First the children ate pancakes with all of the trimmings, then they had to make and design their own pancakes with their favourite toppings.
Children evaluated their work and wrote instructions. They were keen to take home their new skills and show their families for Pancake Day, which fell in the school holiday.
This week has been National Story Week, the children were excited to meet our special surprise guest, who read to all the year groups. The children had a lovely time.
Children have enjoyed reading with their reading buddy this week.
This week the children celebrated Chinese New Year.
We began the day with a whole school assembly where we learnt about Chinese New Year, watched a video about The Great Race and we used the Chinese Zodiac Wheel to find out that this is the year of the Rabbit!
We split into groups and took part in lots of different craft activities throughout the day. We made Chinese rattle drums, paper dragons and the children printed their name in Chinese lettering. We also tried some yummy Chinese food.
